Happy Birthday Samantha!

We spent Samantha's actual birthday today at Disneyland. It was just the 4 of us and turned out to be a great day to go... the weather was cool and kept away the crowds! Samantha had a great time (as usual) on all her go-to rides. She still loves Pooh Bear, but I think the Toon Town roller coaster has become her favorite. Oh, well there's also the Finding Nemo submarine ride, but we did not make it on that one today. It was also Tessa's first trip to the happiest place on Earth. She did great! She went on Pirates, Pooh Bear and the carousel. She was either eating or sleeping through the rest of the rides. Happy Birthday to our sweet Samantha Grace! We can't believe it's been 3 years since she entered our lives. It has been the best 3 years ever!

Samantha's 3rd Birthday Party!

Today we celebrated Samantha's 3rd birthday with friends at a local park. It was a joint party to also celebrate her good friend Sawyer's 3rd birthday as well! The day was perfect! The sun was out but it wasn't too hot like it has been the past few days. The kids all had a great time playing in the sand, swinging and just chasing one another around. At the end of the day, Samantha told me she loved her "pretty party" and had "soooooo much fun, mommy!" I am so happy she is happy! Jason and I can't believe she is already 3 years old. We were told "they" grow up fast... and now we understand. Tessa was of course at the party for her big sister, but slept through a lot of it! All in all we had a great time with our friends and are so grateful for our beautiful little girl Samantha. She and Tessa are the joy of our lives.

Pool Day!!

Today was a very hot spring day! We took the girls to the pool and it was Tessa's first time in for a dip! She LOVED it! Samantha had a great time swimming with Daddy and her friends Jake and Abi!

My Birthday Celebrations!

I was such a lucky girl this week! I got THREE birthday dinners! The first was with my family at Round Table Pizza on the 14th. The second was with my girlfriends at Villa Nova in Newport Beach on the 16th. We were also celebrating my friends Jenn's and Sarah's birthday as well. It was a great night out with great friends. The third and final dinner, on my actual birthday (the 17th) was at Fleming's in Newport Beach with our friends Scott and Andrea Patton. Thank you to all my family and friends that made this a very special birthday for me!!

Seder Dinner

Tonight we went to our good friends the Patton's house for a traditional seder dinner. It was delicious!! Thanks Scott, Andrea, Jake and Abi for having us over!

Mission Viejo Easter Celebration!

Today we headed to the Mission Viejo "Bunny Days" Easter Celebration. There were games, crafts, food, and of course... and Easter egg hunt! However, the field was PACKED with parents and kids so I did not get any pictures of Samantha looking for her candy and eggs (Jason went out on the field with her while I stayed with Tessa). It was a fun day and Samantha loved the pony ride. As you can see, her nose has a band aid on it. It is healing nicely so we are very relieved about that!

Our Poor Little Girl!!

Our poor baby! Samantha was playing with friends last night (April 9th) when she fell down the ladder on her bunk beds. She hit the corner of a drawer under her bed and cut her nose open! I called her Dr. and they advised we go to the ER to check for a break and/or stitches. Luckily, it wasn't broken and turned out to be superficial, so no stitches either! Samantha was such a brave girl. She let the nurse and Dr. poke around her nose without ever crying. She only cried when we got home and I put some more neosporin on it! We are so grateful she wasn't more seriously injured. Her nose should heal nicely, as long as we can keep her from picking at it once it scabs over!!
